Argyle Farmers Market (April–October) – Held the second Saturday of each month at the Argyle Community Church Student Center on US 377, this Texas Department of Agriculture certified market brings in farmers and ranchers from within 100 miles selling produce, meats, dairy, eggs, and honey. It's also a "mission market," gifting a booth each month to a local nonprofit, and it has added seasonal extras like a car show.
 
Fourth of July – Rather than one big town event, Independence Day in Argyle is celebrated neighborhood by neighborhood. Canyon Falls hosts food trucks, live music, and a parade through the streets, Harvest throws a community pool party and cookout with fireworks viewing from the hilltop amenity center, and cul-de-sac block parties are a tradition across town. Larger fireworks shows in Highland Village and Flower Mound are just minutes away.
 
Community Christmas Tree Lighting Festival (early December) – Organized by Keep Argyle Beautiful, this free evening brings families together for live music, crafts, refreshments, a live nativity, and Santa's arrival by fire truck, capped off with the tree lighting and a candlelight carol performance. The festival also collects donations for the Argyle Food Bank.
 
Beyond these, Keep Argyle Beautiful hosts monthly public meetings and cleanup projects, the town runs regular senior events at Town Hall, and the Hilltop Truck Park in Harvest hosts Sunday markets and pop-up events.
 

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Argyle's dining and shopping are concentrated along US 377 and FM 407, with a growing collection of local restaurants, coffee shops, and services, plus food-truck gatherings at Hilltop Truck Park in Harvest. For a larger selection, residents are a short drive from the restaurants and shops of Flower Mound and Highland Village, including The Shops at Highland Village, as well as the historic downtown square in Denton and the "Unique Dining Capital of Texas" in downtown Roanoke.
